Maria Yeh

Elementary School

Hi! My name is Maria Yeh and I am very excited to be joining the team at Orion International Academy. I am thrilled to be a teacher here, and am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventure. I was born into a large family and was raised in Southern California. I went to college at BAU and worked as a Special Educational Advocate for many years. After, I decided to be a teacher and went back to school where I took classes in Early Childhood Education because I love working with kids. I have taught for over seven years, from Pre-School to Jr. High. My family and I currently live in Norco where my son attends UCI and my daughter will be starting 3rd grade in the fall. There is much to learn in the school year to come and I can’t wait to meet you all!!!

James Kuo

Elementary School

I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I went to Cal Poly Pomona and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. Growing up, I have always held close the memorable and nostalgic experiences that I had in kindergarten and first grade. The great impression my teachers left me in my childhood ignited my passion, which has always been to do the same for someone else: teaching and inspiring the next generation, leaving them with valuable lessons and memories they can hold for the rest of their lives. I’m excited to be a part of your child’s education and join the Orion family!
